Every month at Full Circle, we drop two new, fresh seasonal beers. These monthly drops are our way of pushing boundaries, experimenting with new styles, hop combinations, and ingredients that excite us.
Today, we're diving into this month's dual release – covering everything from how it's made to the tasting notes, and most importantly, where you can get your hands on both brews.

Ghoulish Moustache Experiment - Tropical Pale - 4.5%
Introducing Ghoulish Moustache Experiment – our latest Tropical Pale Ale. At a super sessionable 4.5%, this one’s made for easy sipping without compromising on flavour. We’ve loaded it up with Idaho 7 and Krush hops, two absolute powerhouses when it comes to juicy character. The result? A wave of lush tropical notes, with papaya and mango leading the charge, followed by hints of citrus and soft stone fruits in the background.
The malt base features a smooth combo of Extra Pale, Dextrin, Jumbo Oats and Oat Malt, giving the beer a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that lets those hop flavours shine without overwhelming your palate. It’s hazy, it's vibrant, and it’s dangerously drinkable.
And honestly, with the sunshine we’ve been treated to in Newcastle this past week, this beer couldn’t have dropped at a better time. Whether you're chilling in the garden, heading to the park, or just soaking up some rays on your lunch break, Ghoulish Moustache Experiment is the perfect sunny day companion. But don’t wait too long – it’s a limited release, and once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Ghoulish Moustache Experiment: Production
Ghoulish Moustache Experiment is the ultimate sunny-day beer — vibrant, refreshing, and full of character. This brew is packed with punchy tropical fruit and juicy papaya notes, thanks to the dynamic pairing of Idaho 7 and Krush hops.
Behind that flavour is a carefully crafted malt bill featuring Extra Pale malt, Dextrin, Jumbo Oats, and Oat Malt. This combination brings a soft, creamy body that perfectly complements the hop-forward profile. Add in a tailored soft water profile, and the result is a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel that enhances drinkability and rounds off any bitterness.

I'm Not The Sailor, I'm The Captain - New Zealand Pale Ale - 6.5%
New Zealand IPAs and pales are some of our absolute faves and we've had some bangers over the years, this one is no different.
I’m Not A Sailor, I’m The Captain is our brand new, New Zealand IPA sitting at 6.5% and made with a balanced combination of Phantasm, Moteuka and Nelson Sauvin hops.
Bags of white grape and stone fruit flavour are present from the first taste - the classic NZ hop character we love so much. Abundances of peach, nectarine and apricot, concluding with a light, floral finish makes it almost too easy to drink!

I'm Not A sailor, I'm The Captain: Production
Built on a solid backbone of Simpsons Extra Pale malt and Jumbo Oats, this New Zealand IPA showcases a carefully selected blend of some of our favourite hops from Aotearoa. The malt base provides a light, crisp foundation with a touch of body from the oats, giving the beer a soft, full mouthfeel that perfectly supports the hop character.
At the forefront is Nelson Sauvin, a truly distinctive hop known for its bold notes of passionfruit, white grape, and gooseberry.
Complementing this is Motueka, which adds a refreshing citrusy brightness with undertones of lemon zest and lime.
This is a beer that celebrates hop expression while staying incredibly drinkable – complex yet balanced, bold yet smooth. Whether you're a seasoned IPA fan or exploring the bright world of New Zealand hops, this one’s a flavour journey worth taking.
